We now have two doctors, Dr. Kylin Kovac and Dr. Jed Erickson , who have dedicated their lives to helping people with foot and ankle pain.
At a young age, Dr. Kovac was inspired by his grandfather who lost both of his legs due to diabetes . His desire was to gain a greater education in an effort to help others avoid that same outcome. He has extensive training in the challenges of diabetic patients in performing limb salvage and diabetic wound care. Dr. Kovac’s training in foot and ankle surgery includes everything from hammertoes and bunions to ankle fractures and complex foot and ankle reconstructions.
Dr. Kovac is committed to improving your foot and ankle health concerns through both conservative and surgical methods. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, biking, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife and six children.
Dr. Erickson was first exposed to Podiatry while serving a mission for his church in the Philippines. Dr. Erickson was able to see first-hand the complex congenital deformities and the life-long disabilities this caused among the Filipino people. While serving there, he came in contact with a group of physicians who were on a medical mission providing reconstructive surgeries for clubfoot deformities. This experience was Dr. Erickson’s inspiration to seek out a career in the medical field and specifically directed to providing quality care and management through both conservative and surgical methods of the foot and ankle .
Dr. Kovac and Dr. Erickson have comprehensive training in Podiatric Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Pediatric Injuries, and Reconstructive Surgery. They also have extensive training in limb salvage and wound care. Dr. Kovac and Dr. Erickson provide treatment for ankle sprains , heel pain including P lantar Fasciitis , sports injuries , ingrown toenails , diabetic foot care , and much more!
